Stately suns olla created  by Master Potter      Damian Quezada.     

 This very attractive pot is decorated with Damian's classic precise painting of bands that encircle the olla and contrast beautifully with the rich burnt-orange clay. He used a pure white pigment for the suns design and to accentuate the black ribbons.

This wonderful olla  is  magnificently hand formed, very well balanced and masterfully painted by Damian, certainly one of the best Mata Ortiz artists today!
