Magnificent emerald colored clay olla by Master Potter  Damian Quezada.    

 This beautiful pot is decorated with Damian's classic bands of detailed symbols. The pot is divided into three segments featuring the mythical Aztec plumed serpent Quetzalcoatl.  Each serpent is painted in a different color!

The clay color, personally created by Damian by mixing different clays mined in Mata Ortiz,  is gorgeous, delicate emerald green!

This stately olla  is  magnificently hand formed, very well balanced and masterfully painted by Damian, certainly one of the best Mata Ortiz artists today.
