  Stunning , black on black olla by Jaime Quezada, who  makes some of the finest and most beautiful black ware pots in Mata Ortiz.  Jaime is the son of Jesus Quezada,  Juan's younger brother.

 A very similar pot by Jaime is  featured in the issue dedicated to Mata Ortiz pottery of  Artes de Mexico # 45.

This is a truly beautiful, delicate piece by one of the best Mata Ortiz potters specializing in black on black pots.
