Superb wedding vase  by master potter Humberto Ponce.

Humberto and Blanca Ponce are one of the best known pottery teams in Mata Ortiz and their work has been featured in most of the Museum Exhibits about Mata Ortiz pottery.

This wonderful large olla is magnificently decorated with Mata Ortiz classic design elements such as the traditional cuadritos, squares, sweepings bands, stylized Quetzalcoatl serpents, and Native American feathers! 

The fact that Humberto & Blanca rarely create wedding vases makes this fabulous piece even more desirable!
