Superb rose colored Paquimean olla by Lydia Quezada. This beautiful  pot has a sculpted lip that optically creates through negative spaces traditional Native American Kiva Steps.

 The integration of form, beautiful linework and creativity could only be achieved by a true master potter and artist!

A similar pot by Lydia was selected to grace the cover of the Artes de Mexico issue dedicated to Mata Ortiz pottery.
