As is his classic style, this wonderful olla combines a bold geometrical contemporary design and traditional Mimbres motifs. This time he is
also introducing a delicate interior color that symbolizes water and the walls of the pot depict activities related to water, such as fishing.

 Martin won first place in the annual Concurso de
Ceramica de Mata Ortiz 2009 that took place in September 2009 in the Most Innovative category.
