Gorgeous duck effigy created by Nancy Heras. This duck is very well balanced and doesn't need a pottery ring to stand!  Wonderful combination of black matte clay and and  two different hues of red painting!

A similar piece by Nacy & husband Luiz Marinez was part  of  The Field Museum's exhibit of Mata Ortiz pottery.
