Tavo masterfully combined innovative carving and classic painting  into this  absolutely stunning olla.

The form and coloring of the clay are the perfect background for Tavo's gorgeous painting featuring stylized macaws.

Tavo Silveira won First Prize in the colored olla category of the "12th Concurso de Mata Ortiz" that took place in May  2009.
